The schedule of the social event on Wednesday is the following:
Visit at the archaeological museum> at 15:00
The museum is at the center of the city, within walking distance from the conference center. Here is the precise location.>
At 17.00 we will take the bus from the Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos (5 min walk from the museum)
At 17.30 we will arrive to Archanes
The 30th year celebration of ACA will take place at the building of the Hellenic Open University
We have arranged the dinner at 20:00 at the central square of the village, at a tavern called SPITIKO (ΣΠΙΤΙΚΟ).
The buses back to Heraklion are scheduled as follows:
first at 22:30
second at 23:00
third at 23:30
fourth at 24:00
For those who wish to attend the conference dinner only (without participating in the museum visit or the 30th anniversary celebration), a bus to Archanes will depart at 19:00.
Departure point 1: Conference Center – please be ready and waiting by 19:00 sharp, as the bus cannot stop for long. Departure point 2: Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos the bus will stop here briefly at 19:05 before continuing to Archanes.
The Applications of Computer Algebra is scheduled on 14-18 July, 2025 and will be held at Heraklion (Crete), Greece. The ACA conference series is devoted to promoting all kinds of computer algebra applications, and encouraging the interaction of developers of computer algebra systems and packages with researchers and users (including scientists, engineers, educators, and mathematicians). ACA 2025 is an in-person event. If you want to give a talk in ACA 2025, please contact the session organizers of the most relevant session to your topic. If your talk doesn't fit in any of the special sessions, contact the chairs of the session 0. General Session. Conference Topics ------------------ Traditionally, ACA is organized in scientific sessions covering all foundational aspects and applications of computer algebra.
